Welcome to Cardz. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cardz mobile application and related services. By using Cardz, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.


1. Overview

Cardz is a digital wallet application that allows users to store and manage loyalty and reward cards. These Terms explain the rules, guidelines, and limitations that apply when using the Cardz app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Cardz. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

Some features of Cardz may require you to create an account. If you register, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Keep your login credentials secure.
  • Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or misuse resulting from unauthorized access caused by your failure to secure your account information.

4. Use of the App

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use Cardz to:

  • Store digital versions of loyalty and reward cards.
  • Scan barcodes or upload images of your cards.
  • Export your cards to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
  • Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

4.2 Prohibited Use

You may not use Cardz to:

  • Upload unlawful, fraudulent, or copyrighted materials you do not have permission to use.
  • Create, store, or attempt to use counterfeit or fraudulent cards.
  • Reverse-engineer, modify, or tamper with the app.
  • Scrape, mine, or extract data from the app for commercial purposes.
  • Attempt to bypass or disable security measures.

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or permanent termination of your access to Cardz.

5. Data & Privacy

Your use of Cardz is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how it is stored, and how it is used. By using Cardz, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Storage & Availability

6.1 On-Device Data

Some information, such as loyalty card details or images, may be stored locally on your device. This offline data remains on your device and is not transmitted unless you choose to sync it or when your device reconnects to the internet.

6.2 Cloud Services

Cardz uses trusted third-party providers such as Firebase for secure cloud storage. While we take steps to maintain uptime and protect your data, we are not responsible for outages or disruptions caused by external services.

6.3 App Availability

We do not guarantee that Cardz will be available at all times or that it will operate without errors. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue certain features at any time without notice.

7. Intellectual Property

Cardz, including its design, branding, layout, features, and other intellectual property, is owned by the developer. You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, or modify any part of the app without written permission.

You retain ownership of any content you upload, including images, barcode scans, and card details. However, by using Cardz, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely for the purpose of operating the app.

8. Third-Party Services

Cardz may interact with third-party services such as:

  • Apple Wallet
  • Google Wallet
  • Firebase

We are not responsible for the actions, performance, or policies of these third parties. Your use of their services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Liability & Disclaimers

9.1 No Warranty

Cardz is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties regarding:

  • The accuracy or reliability of barcode scanning or card rendering.
  • Compatibility with all devices or operating systems.
  • The prevention of data loss or security breaches.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cardz and its developers are not liable for any:

  • Loss of data.
  • Damage to your device.
  • Unauthorized access to your information resulting from your actions.
  • Issues caused by third-party services.
  • Misuse of the app by users.

You use the app at your own risk.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Cardz if you:

  • Violate these Terms.
  • Engage in harmful, abusive, or fraudulent behavior.
  • Use the app in a way that disrupts service for other users.

You may stop using Cardz at any time by deleting the app or closing your account.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. If changes are made, the updated version will be posted within the app or on the website. Continued use of Cardz after updates means you accept the new Terms.
